I finally did it. I set aside some time, logged in to my Twitter/X/What-the-f*ck-ever account to grab all of the pictures I wanted to keep, and deleted it. I’m done. I’m out.

I admit that it was easy for me, though. I rarely tweeted and on the occasion that I did, I wasn’t really interacting. I was marketing—poorly! I’d tweet a thing, because that’s what you do when you do something, and then run like hell because I didn’t enjoy myself there. I tweeted to my audience, but didn’t spend any time actually speaking with my audience. And then, Elon Musk. Sigh. I don’t know if he had a side bet about how quickly he could tank a thriving business or what, but I’m not going to be a part of it. Not with one single character.
